Perinatal Mental Health
Pregnancy or parenthood not what you thought it would be? You’re not alone. Approximately 1/5 Moms and 1/10 Dads experience a postpartum mood and anxiety disorder (PMADs) in the perinatal period (conception to one year postpartum). During and after pregnancy, some people experience things like extreme sadness, anxiety, mood swings, or a sense of identity loss, which can really affect how they feel about themselves and their ability to care for their baby.
I have completed advanced perinatal mental health training and passed the Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) exam, which means I have dedicated extra time toward education and experience with the perinatal population in order to best support you and wherever you are on this journey.
Know that you’re not alone, and you deserve to feel better.
