Perinatal Mental Health

Pregnancy or parenthood not what you thought it would be? You’re not alone. Approximately 1/5 Moms and 1/10 Dads experience a postpartum mood and anxiety disorder (PMADs) in the perinatal period (conception to one year postpartum). During and after pregnancy, some people experience things like extreme sadness, anxiety, mood swings, or a sense of identity loss, which can really affect how they feel about themselves and their ability to care for their baby.

I have completed advanced perinatal mental health training and passed the Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) exam. Whether you’re thinking about starting a family, pregnant, or a new parent, I want to support you.

Know that you’re not alone, and you deserve to feel better.
